Olson v. La Jolla Neurological Associates (2022)

Case
November 23, 2022
Description

Holding that court clerk's mere recording of judgment against widow of patient in the register of actions, based upon court's grant of summary judgment to physician and professional corporation in widow's suit alleging they violated Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, did not constitute entry of judgment in the absence of a corresponding file-stamped judgment, and because there was no judgment entered on the original summary judgment order, the court retained jurisdiction to reconsider the order.
