Description
If a DVRO petition describes abusive acts in general terms, the petitioner should be allowed to testify about specific actions that match the general allegation. For example, if the petition alleged "he threatened to physically harm me," the petitioner should be allowed to testify about the three times he held a gun to her head and threatened to kill her.
