Description
This training is designed to help attorneys better represent survivors in unlawful detainer cases. This training should help attorneys:
- Integrate insights about the dynamics of domestic violence into their practice;
- Provide survivor centered representation;
- Identify and understand changes in California law that protect tenants from being evicted because of acts of abuse or violence;
- Assess challenges and create legal strategies to prevent tenants from being evicted because of abuse or violence; and
- Create trial records that allow their clients to appeal unfavorable ruling.
