Alhusainy v. The Superior Court of Orange County (2006)

Holding that (1) as an issue of first impression, condition of banishment in lieu of sentencing was impermissible, invalidating defendant's guilty plea; (2) defendant's disqualification motion was untimely; but (3) Court of Appeal would direct, in interests of justice, that further proceedings be held before different judge.
