Law Clerk or Fellow Job Openings (CA/WA) -Fall/Spring/Summer- Applications accepted year round
FVAP is committed to supporting and mentoring the next generation of anti-domestic violence advocates. We seek applications from law clerks and fellows throughout the year to join our small but exceptional and dynamic California or Washington office. Law clerks are a part of our team through the year including part-time Fall and Spring clerkships and full-time Summer clerkships. Starting weeks are flexible based on a clerk’s academic calendar. We also work with students to apply for post-graduate fellowship programs to support working as a Fellow at FVAP.
We value diverse experiences and backgrounds. FVAP’s clientele is diverse, and we serve individuals and advocates throughout the state, including rural, suburban, and urban populations. The ideal candidate will bring skills and experiences enabling them to serve these diverse populations well in the context of domestic violence and appellate litigation. FVAP staff primarily works remotely. While our California office is in Oakland, California and our Washington office is in Bellevue, Washington, clerks are able to work remotely. FVAP accepts applications for clerkships and fellowships at any time. We know that different schools have different timelines for recruitment, funding, and credits. If you must know by a certain date for credit registration or funding purposes, please clearly state that in your email and cover letter.
