Their membership works tirelessly across the state to help survivors towards safety and freedom. Legal Voice pursues justice for all women and LGBTQ people in the Northwest, through groundbreaking litigation, legislative advocacy, and legal rights education. To help you better understand your rights and the legal system, Legal Voice offers a variety of tools and resources, including free know-your-rights materials about several legal issues.
The Sexual Violence Law Center (SVLC) is a nonprofit law firm that seeks to improve the legal response to survivors of sexual violence. Their advocacy is based in race and gender equity principles. SVLC is the only legal aid program of its kind in Washington, providing holistic legal assistance and representation exclusively to victims of sexual violence, assault, abuse, harassment and stalking.
