An overview of the California Values Act (“Sanctuary State Law”) and the California Attorney General’s model policies for how shelters and courts can comply with the Act when responding to immigration enforcement. This training highlights the key points from the model policies for shelters and courts, the laws underlying the model policies, and what the guidance means for domestic violence shelters and survivors.
