FVAP is committed to supporting and mentoring the next generation of anti-domestic violence advocates. We seek applications from law clerks throughout the year to join our small but exceptional and dynamic California or Washington office. Law clerks are a part of our team through the year including part-time Fall and Spring clerkships (16-20 hours) and full-time Summer clerkships (37.5 hours). Starting and ending weeks are flexible based on a clerk’s academic calendar.
We value diverse experiences and backgrounds. FVAP’s clientele is diverse, and we serve individuals and advocates throughout the state, including rural, suburban, and urban populations. The ideal candidate will bring skills and experiences enabling them to serve these diverse populations well in the context of domestic violence and appellate litigation. Our California office is in Oakland, California. Our Washington office is in Bellevue, Washington. FVAP accepts applications for clerkships and fellowships at any time.
