March 2, 2015

Watch a 9th Circuit Oral Argument in case where FVAP filed an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief. Find the recording here. (A.L.C. and E.R.S.C.) Mother appeals the district court’s order granting Father’s petition under the Hague Convention for the return of two children from the United States to Sweden. The issue presented in our brief is whether coerced relocation of one parent, as part of a pattern of abuse and isolation, can provide the children with a new habitual residence.

March 2015

Our March newsletter recaps our 2014 accomplishments and looks ahead to what we’ll accomplish in 2015. Read it here.
