FVAP Listening Booth at annual Shifting the Lens Conference

March 5, 2018 by FVAP

Our attorneys are ready and eager to listen, learn, and brainstorm creative solutions to problems survivors face statewide at The CA Partnership to End Domestic Violence’s annual Shifting the Lens conference today and tomorrow. Domestic violence advocates and service providers who attend the conference are encouraged to stop by the our Listening Booth and tell us about the challenges survivors in your community face. Our attorneys will be providing on-the-spot answers to legal questions and what we learn as guidance when deciding what trainings and self-help legal resources we should develop next.

With the launch of FVAP’s new Housing and Employment Justice project, we are especially interested in about hearing the barriers survivors face in applying for or remaining in stable housing, and in finding or keeping safe employment.
