How to Lay a Record for Appeal – for Attorneys
This training will help attorneys understand the basics of obtaining an appealable order, making a clear record of error and prejudice for appeal, introducing evidence, requesting a statement of decision, and filing a timely notice of appeal. This training is meant for attorneys; non-attorneys, including DV advocates and survivors representing themselves, should check out the version of this training for non-attorneys here.
