Nuisance and Crime-Free Ordinances and Their Impact on Housing Access for Survivors

In this webinar presenters from FVAP and National Housing Law Project (NHLP) discuss nuisance ordinances and crime-free housing policies and how they often punish survivors of domestic and sexual violence for seeking help from police or other emergency services. This webinar also explains how California law now protects tenants, including survivors, from being evicted or punished because of calls for police or other emergency services (such as ambulances).

Below the video, in the Accompanying Materials section on this webpage, you can find PDF documents of the PowerPoint slide decks and the MCLE Evaluation Form for this training.

Presenter: Taylor Campion, FVAP Employment & Housing Justice Attorney and Kara Brodfuehrer, NHLP
MCLE Credit: .75 of General MCLE credit (Instructions on applying for MCLE credit below video. Available for CA attorneys only.) Closed captioning available.
